We have several openings for law enforcement personel in our upcoming Police Tactics Program. This is taught will be taught on Monday evenings once we have enough officers for a class. This program features police tactics that are aligned with the NC State BLET Program but are different and a supplement to the state BLET Police tactics curriculum. These techniques are slightly different but very effective and can be added to what you learned in BLET, and a great supplement to your skills overall. This program features police tactics that are aligned with the NC State BLET Program but are different and a supplement to the state BLET Police tactics curriculum. These techniques are slightly different but very effective and can be added to what you learned in BLET, and a great supplement to your skills overall. The officer will learn how to use pain compliance using small joint manipulation to control a fighting suspect and to assist with cuffing the suspect. There will be many different techniques taught that was not taught in the state BLET program. This includes strategic striking, takedowns using armlocks, wrist locks, and finger locks. The officer will also learn how to disarm sticks, knives and guns as well as learn gun retention. There will be various ground techniques taught in the program that will help if the offcier is knocked to the ground with the suspect on top of them attacking them. Jon Gregory, retired Dean of Wake Technical College's Public Saftey program, BELT program and a Level 8 Instructor of the Police Tactics Instructors of America and Soke Murdock Level 8 instructor of the Police Tactics Instructors of America Association are developing a new police tactics program that will replce the Police Tactics of America Program. These techniques will be NC State BLET aligned and work very well with different types of law enforcement scenerios. We are actively creatating a more diverse Police Tactics program that is very effective and is aligned with the NC's state program. The material will go beyond the state BLET program. We have created techniques that uses less deadly force if the situation would permit it. This special training would supplement the training the officer already has. Jon Gregory is a 2nd degree black belt in our Ju-Jitsu martial art and also a Level 3 Ju-Jitsu Instructor at our dojo. He is a 5th degree black belt in Combat Hapkido as well. Soke Mark Murdock has 5 different black belts, Ju-Jitsu, Ninjutsu, Aikido, Judo, Karate and Black Belt Equivilent in Krav Maga, Escrima, Arnis and Kali. Soke Murdock has 45 years in martial arts and has a vast knowledge of martial arts.
